The FORT BEND VETERANS FESTIVAL will be hosted by the Society of the Eucharist Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. The Society of the Eucharist Foundation will develop a veterans fund and be responsible for it while not endorsing anyone. Meaning, this is a major community effort involving many community leaders and due to the potential political nature of this cause, we are not endorsing anyone or any entity in politics. We simply seek to do the Lord's work, even while under difficult challenges. However, this is a very Christian hosted event and we are requesting the assistance of all local Fort Bend Churches. Our worship service will be hosted by First Colony Church of Christ.
Proceeds from the Festival will be divided three ways: funds distributed to local veteran organizations, funds retained for the following year festival, and funds retained for special veteran needs that come to our attention during the year. The main featured beneficiary will be the Curtis Brown Foundation.
Estimated start up costs are $55,000. We need your support and your donation will be tax deductible. We would love to have your participation in the event and your help promoting it. Today, this is a grassroots community effort. Corporate sponsors will later come but let us be the catalyst for this dream that shows our respect for our service people.
We will make public all sponsors and their contribution. The public is welcome to encourage support.
The yearly Fort Bend Veterans Festival will provide family-oriented activities revolving around American patriotic themes. It is a day of celebration and appreciation of the men and women who serve in the armed forces.
Checks can be made out to the Society of the Eucharist.
If you would like to make a donation restricted to the charitable contribution for the veterans through the Festival, make it out to the Society of the Eucharist, and mail to P.O. Box 17176, Sugar Land, Texas 77496 and
